Dale Earnhardt had racing in his blood, and he showed that passion every time he got in his car. Over his 21-year career he won the Winston Cup championship 7 times and 76 races overall. His most famous victory, however, was the Daytona 500, which he finally won after 20 years of frustrating attempts. The Intimidator finally admitted to showing some emotion that day. "I cried a little bit in the race car on the way to the checkered flay. Well, maybe not cried, but at least my eyes watered up." Earnhardt's victory also earned him a spot on David Letterman's top ten list.
